Even better question to ask yourself:

How do I make my customers lives and/or businesses better, more productive,  stronger, wealthier, healthier, etc?


Pretend you are asked that question any time you start talking about your business and what it is you do.

Whether we like to admit it or not – we all care about one thing – ourselves. We love to hear our own name and love to tell everyone everything we can about how great we are. If you want to maximize your sales, you really have to STOP THAT!

Your clients feel the same as you and want to talk and hear about what you can do for them.

Ask them probing questions to learn more about them, then tell them how it is you will make their business/life better by doing business with you.

Stop thinking about what it is you do and how you do it and start thinking about how you can help and tell them what you can do for them.

What will make you unique is your ability to listen. You can make friends and impress more people with your ears than you ever could with your words. It’s tempting to tell everyone how wonderful you are. Resist the urge and only talk about them. If you try it – you won’t be disappointed.

This is not only for when you talk to people but also on all your printed materials and website as well. Always focus on the features and benefits your clients receive by working with you.

e.g. If you work with my company, Max Power Marketing, we will build a website that will make your business have the professional image it deserves, it will be built search engine friendly so new potential clients can find you and will be optimized for future marketing efforts. Everything is designed to bring more clients calling you or through your front door.
